Data Entry Audible Warning Features

In Wintakes, exceeding limits, i.e., Entry, Price, Qty, or Comined, will result in a "continuous beep", the Plus (+) key must be depressed to stop the beep, and the entry must be re-keyed from the start of the record.

In Financial Audit, exceeding limits, i.e., Entry (extension) will result in a "continuous beep", the Escape (E) key must be depressed to stop the beep, and the entry must be re-keyed from the start of the record.

In NDI-W.I.N., exceeding limits, i.e., Price, Qty, will sound three short beeps, and the Plus (+) key must be depressed to accept the entry or Escape (E) to re-key the entry.

An extension (price x quantity) over $100.00 results in a single beep. No further action is necessary except to continue with data entry. The beep is an audible warning that the extension exceeded $100.00. This limit can be changed in Wintakes, Financial Audit (DC5 stand-alone) and NDI-W.I.N. on both the PC and the DC5.
